No signal? No problem.

SnowTalkie

Off-grid voice & chat for the slope.

A walkie-talkie for your crew on the mountain — push-to-talk voice, text, a one-tap SOS, and a radar that shows who's nearby. Phone to phone over Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. No cell tower, no router, no account.

Made for the mountain

Big controls you can hit with ski gloves on. Cold, calm, and built to work where there's no signal.

Hold to talk

Push-to-talk feels like a real walkie. Or open the mic the whole run with hands-free mode.

Type with gloves

Send text anytime. Voice messages are transcribed on-device so you can read them in the wind.

Peer radar

See each person's direction and distance, so you always know where your group is.

One-tap SOS

Hold to broadcast an emergency alert with your last known location to everyone on the channel.

On your wrist

Talk straight from Apple Watch without pulling out your phone.

Private by design

No servers, no accounts, no analytics, no tracking. Nothing ever leaves your devices.

How it works

Make a channel, gather your crew

Pick any short word or number — family-ski, 1234, pizza. Anyone who types the same channel finds you automatically.

Hold to talk, tap for live

Press and hold the mic to talk like a walkie, or keep the mic open for the whole run. Type messages anytime.

See who's near

The radar shows everyone's bearing and distance. If someone drops out of range, it tells you.

Honest about range: Bluetooth reaches ~10–30 m, Wi-Fi peer-to-peer ~50–150 m line-of-sight. Other phones in between relay along, stretching your group's coverage further.
